The older THECATHOLICDIRECTORY.COM will remain online for several months so the newer domain name can be indexed with Internet search engines. Please maintain your listings on both websites for the benefit of all parishioners. We will notify church administrators when no longer necessary to update both websites.


What is the Catholic Directory?
The Catholic Directory is a worldwide database of officially recognized Catholic churches and organizations. Parishioners can find and connect with churches, look up Mass times, church websites, contact information, clergy, maps, events, job postings, readings, Saints, and more. The directory and companion smart phone Apps are free to all Catholic organizations and parishioners supported by donations and advertising revenues.  You can learn more about the Catholic Directory on our About Us page.

Can anyone get a free listing?
No, only official Catholic churches and organizations recognized by a Diocese or the Vatican can get a free listing on the directory. If you are a parishioner, you can 
Click Here and sign-up for a free Parishioner Club Membership. If your Catholic church or organization is missing, please use our Contact Form to request it be added to the directory. To help us verify, please provide details why it should be included in the directory along with your contact information. 


Why are premium listings free?
The directory was created to help promote official Catholic churches and organizations serving Catholic communities and parishioners. You can learn more on our 
About Us page.


How can I change information for a church or Catholic organization?
You can submit updated information as a volunteer Guest by using our 
Update Form. To make immediate changes directly, you must have a member account and be a listing owner or church administrator. If you you do not have a member account and your church or organization is already listed in the directory, select the "Claim listing" button on your page. Make sure to click here to view more details about How To Update Listings.


How can I determine if there is already a listing owner or church administrator?
1) Go to your listing page.
2) Look for an orange “Claim Listing” button above the map section.
3) If you do NOT see the “Claim Listing” button, then there is already a church administrator.


How can I change an existing church administrator / listing owner?
Use our 
Contact Form and let us know that you want to be the new church administrator and why. Make sure to include your phone and contact information in case we need to call and speak with you.


How do I add a Church or Catholic Organization missing in the directory? 
If a Catholic church or organization is missing, please use our Contact Form to request it be added to the directory. To help us verify, please provide details why it should be included in the directory along with your contact information. 

How can I get a Catholic category added or changed?
Please use our 
Contact Form and let us know which category you need added or changed along with the name of your organization and location.


I am not a church or Catholic organization. How can I post a classified ad, job, or event?
You can join as a 
Parishioner Club Member which is for parishioners wanting to publish a classified ad, post a job, or community event. Membership is free and as a Club Member you can also save your favorite churches, make and read reviews, and receive special deals from Catholic friendly businesses. How can I get my forgotten password?
1) Go to the Member Login page and select the “Forgot your password? Click Here”
2) Enter your email address and select “Get My Password”
3) Check your email inbox for your password.

How do I read and write reviews?
To leave a review for a church or organization, select the "Write a Review" button on their listing page. To read reviews, select the "Reviews" tab link. This link will only appear if at least one review has been submitted.


How do I publish an article?
To publish an article, login to your member dashboard and select "Member Articles" on the left side menu.


How do I publish a "featured" article?
You must be a featured sponsor to publish a featured article. To publish a featured article, login to your member dashboard and select "Blog Articles" on the left side menu.


How can I publish an event?
To publish an event, login to your member dashboard and select "Events" on the left side menu. Events are dispayed on your listing page and also on the main 'Events' page.


How can I publish a job posting?
To post a job, login to your member dashboard and select "Job Listings" on the left side menu. Job postings are dispayed on your listing page and also on the main 'Jobs' page.


How can I post coupons?
To publish coupons, login to your member dashboard and select "Coupons" on the left side menu. Coupons are displayed on your listing page and on the main 'Deals' page.


How can I publish a classified ad?
To publish classified ads, login to your member dashboard and select "Classifieds" on the left side menu. Classifieds are dispayed on your listing page and also on the main 'Classifieds' page.


How can I get on the main 'Social' page?
Listings categorized as "Social Media, Blogs - Local Community" are automatically displayed on the main "Social" page. Your business or organization must qualify as a Blog or similar type of local community website like Facebook, Twitter, etc.


What is a Branded Website listing?
Churches, missions, and other Catholic organizations can now easily publish and maintain a website using our directory listing software. The cost is only $15/year!

Can I use my own domain name on a Branded Website listing?
Yes, you can use your own domain for your branded website. If you need a domain name, register on our 
MyCatholicHost.com website and after let us know using the Contact Form. If you already have a domain name, let us know and we will send instructions to use it with your branded website listing.
